TIE is bordering on irresponsible with headlines like the laptop one.

There have been a spate of unfortunate news items and &#039;surveys&#039; recently that have been detrimental to teachers in general and mobile computing programs in particular. I want to blog about this but lack the time! We need to rise above these &#039;biased&#039; headlines and focus on best practice learning which means asking teachers to be responsible for best practice &#039;teaching&#039;. More importantly we need to define what best practice teaching actually is and encourage all educators to work towards it. That takes time, commitment, money.....it&#039;s easier just to have vague headings blaming the technology.....</description>
